Yo ppl,

I'm new here. Currently I am using a Canon S30 n intend to purchase a DSLR soon. Any good advice...Canon EOS or Nikon D-series. Thanks.

I would look at all the guides and try to decide which has more of the features you are looking for but definately whether you are getting it mail order or in store get your hands on them and see which fits your hands best and has the most intuitive controls for you.

I should the digital rebel but am looking to upgrade to the 20D soon. I prefer and have always preferred Canon but I know many who feel the same about Nikon I like Canon Glass better but bot will give a talented shooter great images.

You might want to look at other brands as well, Maybe check out the recent images Matt_C has shot with the Olympus E-1

When it comes down to it really there are plenty of good choices and only you can find out which is best for you.
