Dog Racing???

hi all!

Has anyone photographed a dog race? I'm going to give it a try this weekend. I find a photo off a fast event in slow motion quite fascinating any helpful hints?

i've never tried dog racing...but i've tried panning...
and that's wat gives the effect of motion, slow shutter, while following the subject....

hope this helps...i don't know a whole lot about this...so correct me if i'm wrong

Thanks vito i was not too sure what the panning technique was but once i had a read up about it i found that it was precisely imagery i was looking for.
