Question about photo restoring business.

Im thinking about starting my own photo restoring and refinishing business. I have been doing this for myself and family for a long time now. Everyone I do it for thinks I should have my own business. So I thought I might give it a try. I have been looking into the equipment thing and I think I have that part all figured out. Now I have to figure out how to charge. Do any of you have any suggestion on a starting place for what to charge?

Thats a hard thing to price, since some photos can be fixed in minutes, where others may take days...

I would recommend giveing a flat fee for small work that would cover more than most needs.

Then maybe a hourly charge for anything that requires you to go into detail or takes longer.

I know many people just want a doctored up photo reprint. Where others will want the works with TOP NOTCH paper and all. So two choices of paper may be a good idea as well...

Tough thing to price, you could always give a rough cost upfront and then charge them on how much effert and time went into it.
