The vividness of the orange and red is stunning and the location sounds interesting

Excellent photo. The colours are so rich.
Is this the place where you need permission from the governement to visit ?
I know Greece a little as I stayed there for around a year. Loved it... also the people are so friendly, especially on the island of Chios.Kind Regards.

For RVB
If you to visit Mount Athos you must have a permission from the community office in Ouranoupolis or from my hometown's office,Thessaloniki, one month in advance.

Sunrise over Mount Athos
I did not use tripod,I took this photo at 7 am. I used to underxpose my photos for more color emphasis.
I think my Nikkor 105mm its a great tool for me.

I might think about becoming a monk if I could live in a place like that.
