Definitely the b/w. It gives the picture a lot more mystique.

    BW too

I prefer the mood given on the BW pic. BTW, very nice composition.

I like them both but i'd rather have the b/w on my wall. The soft focus really gives it the edge. A beautiful and timeless image.

    BW or Color?

Color. I have a request. I'm new to bytePhoto as of today. Is there a way to e-mail the moderator of a forum?

Hi sjm05, and welcome to BytePhoto.

You can use the PM private message system or you can email, either me or Paul (plarson). The email adresses are in our profile section.

BTW thanks for the input concerning the choice B&W or color.
    Kind Regards.

    PM private message system

I found my way to the PM private message system just before you're reply. I had hoped that there would be something like that.

Thank for getting back to me so soon.

    Definately B&W, it's almost surreal.

It seems you can capture many moods with just a slight change of B/W images. Contrast, light, sepia, etc. But you can never get such moods out of color. It is what it is. Just my opinion. Great capture.
