A shot with a lot of potential... but it's maybe over processed with too much contrast etc. There's a loss of detail in the petals because of this.
However, keep 'em coming and don't hesitate to ask advice on post processing. It's the way to learn.

Yes, I agree it is a tad over processed. As noted, iy's one of my first Pshop forays. I was probably trying every filter in the book!
