This last weekend we went up to a place called CastleBluff in the ozarks. We attempted to sleep in a place called the bat cave, but in reality it was just a crappy overhang and cold.. cold... cold. So I got up at 540 am and went and made a fire.. I brought my camera with me so I naturally took some shots.... These are my favoites. Man every time I look at the fire shots I remember how lovley the warmth from it was. There is something of God in fire.

Nice shots of the fire....not easy to catch. There is something hypnotic about looking into a fire. Use to love backpacking and 5:00 in the morning was the right time to get up, start the fire, and enjoy a cup of coffee while everyone else slept.

    thanks for sharing,
