Anyone have any tips on how to fix it up... or if it's even possible to fix up.
I guess this is why you don't take pictures into the sun with a point and shoot camera
I tried playing with the levels, but there is not much that can be done to save it in that direction(that I can see at least)
thanks in advance for any tips

what are you looking to do to this photo?
I mean there are a lot of little things you could do to make it a useable shot.
Over all I actually like the sun beam effect here, I feel it adds alot. Due to the distance you are from the subject it would have been a really empty shot with out it.
The over all photo is over exposed which is probably due to the whiteness of the snow and your meter. I usually recommend setting your EV at -1 on a shot like this.
Over all I feel its very saveable with a little PP. But before any tips are giveing mainly was wanting to know what you wanted to get out of it.

IMO I wouldn't do much to the pic. Maybe take it into PS and adjust the levels a bit but not much. I too like the sun effect.

Mainly I was just trying to make the snow a little less bright in most areas on the ground. That's the only real problem I have with the shot.

but that's what I have now
any other thoughts to what might make this a better picture are greatly appreciated
