Hi
Best time of day for me is just after sunrise and just before sundown. The light has a magical quality at this times and draws nice long shadows. It's hard to overexpose a shot at these times as well. The worst time can be at midday when the sun is most powerful and can be quite harsh making subjects too bright and easy to overexpose although obviously the weather plays a large part in all of this.

I too like the sunrise/sunset time but I think my favorite is at night with the lights of the city.

I seem to enjoy mid-afternoon. I have no idea why.

Thank you for your input. I will take these into consideration when I play with my new camera.

I tend to shoot late in the afternoon through the night, possibly due to amongst other things Ithat I don't drag myself out of bed til noon and I shoot a lot of racing at night.

I prefer the 'magical hours' for shooting, early morning and evening.
Kind Regards.

Morning and evening here as well. I also love slightly overcast days since I can then shoot all day without harsh sunlight worries.
