I had the i850 before I went to the Epson 2200 and I loved it ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦.
The Epson 900 offers 6 ink system an impressive list of features including printing directly on CD .. the problems I have heard about the CD printing is that is has to a special printable CD and that they are much more expensive then regular CDs .. as for rolled photo paper I have yet to use that feature on any photo printer that I have owned ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦.
The i850 is lighting fast but only uses a 4 ink system but I found the print quality to be outstanding with the exception of B&W ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦ also canon brand paper can be hard to find locally ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦..

If I had to pick one though it would be the i850 ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦. On a side note Sam’‚’‚…‚’‚…Ύ‚s Club had the i950 with a free media card reader bundled in with it in the 220 price range recently

I've had the Canon 850 for about six months now. The quality is great and ink usage far less than I expected. The speed is amazing compared to the HP I had previously.

I've read that Canon papers are hard to find, but personally I've never had any problems with availability. Paper cost is good too.

I've printed photos on the Canon and also had them printed by a local photo lab on photo paper...the Canon prints were more crisp with brighter color.

I don't think you can go wrong with the 850.
