editing monitors
I am new to this board so please forgive me if I this subject has already been covered. I am looking to buy a new monitor for the editing side of my photography. I do work for other photographers and the color calibration is a real concern. I am considering moving to Mac and the Cinema monitor but am also considering a nex or lacie montior any thoughts...quality, color accuracy, thanks

I am told monitors using S-IPS technology are best, but I think that has some to do with viewing angle. If you have a color calibration tool like a Huey Pro or similar, you should be fine.

thanks Buddy for your reply, I have since read the same thing from several sources. I learnt my editing basics in a darkroom so going digital means learning something new.....I never want to stop learning so can't complain...thanks again
