Intellisharpen Plugin
Anybody use this Fred Miranda plugin? The claim on the site is that it will sharpen without increasing noise. I thought some of the members here may use or know of it.

Frank - Thanks for your input. I checked the Dpreview threads and also comments from another happy user. I bought it and just tried it in Elements 2. It works fine. It automatically installed in the "automate" program folder. Only a couple of clicks to bring it up from the File menu. It has 14 sharpening levels. Just going to #3 seems to give excellent results. It has a "opacity tweek" option, which I'm not sure I understand, but it will let you reduce the layer opacity with a slider. Do you know what this does? Very little information on using the program is included.
Regards, Henry

That clears things up for me. Thanks. I prefer to work with layers (I can name them and come back later to adjust). I will try the formula of boosting the level and reducing the opacity. I also noticed I can use the layers window drop down menu to adjust lighting effects, etc. This is a good one for Elements users, as most of his actions only work with PS. Very Cool.

I also use the one for the 10D and will probably get the standard version for work where we use a variety of different cameras.
