Digital Backgrounds vs. Muslin
I am a new youth sports photographer. Considering buying digital backdrops and using chroma backgrounds for portraits and dropping them in to dig. backgrounds (ex.: a sports arena). Worried that final pic won't look good--hard line around edge of subject.)
Also, will Photoshop be able to adequately decipher different shades of blue (to cut out) as a result of shadows from original picture of subject. (in other words: after taking pic of subject, there will bound to be uneven color on chroma background...will Photoshop be able to able to cut all the blue/green chroma out.
Would like to be able to use digital backdrops as cost-effective alternative to buying Muslin backdrops (other than the chromas). What are Pros/Cons. Websites advertising dig. backgrounds don't really address these issues. Thanks.
