    Unhappy newbie needs help please!!!!!

    please help i have tried to find this answer and have been unsuccessful. how do you extend a backdrop using photoshop to make the subject appear to stand on it instead of floating in the air.

    I'm not entirely sure I understand the question. But adding a shadow cast by the subject on to the ground, connects the subject to the ground (or background) so that it does not appear to float.
    There are many ways to create realistic shadows, but to get it right requires some practice.

    If i understand your question porperly..........i would air brush maybe a horizon line or something...or try a different angle on the shot......
