Megapixels
I have a HP two megapixels and it takes great pictures ..
But when I display on my computer screen at 1024 X 768 pixels, my pictures are not as clear. I would like to upgrade to a five megapixel, would this make a difference on the computer screen as well.
Thanks

Not really.
What you're probably seeing is what happens when you take a 2 MP photo and look at it on a 0.8 MP display. Most programs that "zoom out" so you can see the entire picture ( border to border ) on your screen use a quick and dirty way to shrink your picture. This is where the not so clear look is probably coming from, so going from 2 MP -> 0.8 MP up to 5 MP to 0.8 MP really won't help much.
What you probably want to do is make a copy of your photo and have your software actually resample it to 1024x768 ( or some other size ). That takes a few extra seconds compared to just zooming out, and you can see the difference in quality.
