I just joined this site. Right now I am just checking things out but would eventually like to join a contest. I think I understand how to enter for a week, but does each week have a theme? If so, where is that listed?

there are no set subjects for the weekly contest. You can enter 2 pics every week.

Thanks! Another website I had seen had very specific criteria, so I was a little confused!

Is it pretty rare to get a critique on here? I'd really love some feedback!

When you post an image to POTW, it helps if you too participate in commenting to others images as well to help others get to know you
You dont have to get too technical about the image is you dont understand that yet, just say what you like about a photo

Actually, I have replied to a few shots already, as I felt that it's only fair to do so since I would love comments on my own photos and I have seen so many beautiful images here. Thank you, though for suggesting so. I think I am just a little impatient.
