    Alien Bees/White Lightning vs. Elinchrom

    Looking for advice & opinions on Alien Bees/White Lightning vs. Elinchrom monolights for a small portrait studio. I've researched both and read many reviews, & now I'm more confused than ever.
    I realize that there's a big price difference, but my goal is to eventually do this professionally, so if there's a large difference in quality I'd rather start smaller and add on later.

    Any opinions?

    I have used the Alien Bees strobes and have no complaints.

    I am sure you can beef up electronics, but unless you are shooting 24/7 I doubt the higher cost items offer anything useful.
