    Sigma 24-70 lens

    Has anyone used the Sigma f2.8 24-70 lens? I'm thinking about getting one but was wondering if anyone had any feedback on it. I'd be using it with a D300. Let me know what you think!

    Try looking on the Nikonians site for comments on that lens.

    I have a Sigma 28-300 which I use on a D200 and I like.

    The mechanics are not as good as the glass. I had a complete failure of the zoom mechanism after 2+ years. AS I live very close to Sigma USA, I was able to bring it in and have it back within 24 hours (for $60 as it was out of warranty).

    For that reason I can recommend their products.
