tripod buying help

I have recently purchased an hpr707 digital camera, and a Sony dcr-hc96. And I am looking for a tripod that would be acceptiable for both(I am not doing anything professional...just family stuff)

I have been looking around bhphotovideo, and have found some in my price range...after reading on a couple sites, this one included, and I have learned some about tripods. But I have never had one before, so I have tried to narrow it down to a few...and I hope you all can help me decide???

Any help in deciding what would be best for me would be greatly appreciated, as I just dont know what features are fluff, and which are worth the extra money. And surely I do not have any idea about brand quality...thank you in advance for your help :O)
