My camera won't work with my SD card in it

Hey everyone,

Today I was using my camera, and it was working fine. The batteries got low so I changed them and when I went to turn on the camera, it wouldn't turn on. So after trying to figure it out, I realized that it would work when I removed the SD card. But now I can't access the tons of pictures that were saved on my card. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? I went to the manufacturer's, of my computer, website and downloaded a Media Card Reader drive, but when I put the card into my computer it won't read it. I don't know what happened to my card! Any help is appreciated.

I have never had this happen to me. First download what ever pictures are in your internal memory, not from your SD card. Remove the batteries over night (I've heard this on another forum) Then reload your batteries (do not put in SD card) and reformat your camera. With fully charged batteries install your SD card, then see if the pictures on the SD card come up.. Mind you I have never tried this but read on another forum to do this. The one thing I think I would add is to go to what ever store and have those pictures on the SD card put on disk. If they will not download to disk at the store you have a bad SD card.
