broken camera
a few weeks ago someone dropped my camera and now it doesn't work. i have a lumix DMC-LC50. Whenever I turn it on, it opens up, then closes, and then says PLEASE TURN OFF AND ON THE CAMERA AGAIN. I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem, and if anyone knows about how much it would cost to fix it up. i went to the store i purchased it at, and they said that it would cost 40.00 up front, then theyd send it to panasonic and id be charged for labor p/h. THEN id have to wait about a month or 2 to have it again. should i take it somewhere else? i dont know what to do.

You have a stuck lens. The lens tried to come out but was not able , hence you get an error message saying turn off and on again.
