Hi, I am currently using a Kodak easyshare camera. I'm looking for a camera that takes pictures whenever I push the button, not 5 seconds later...can anyone help with a suggestion...oh, and I don't want to spend a ton of money (beginner and all..)

    thanks a lot!

Hzski, the only cameras you will be able to have instant shots with no lag are DSLR's which of course are more expensive then the typ of camera you have now.

You also have to realize that when you take your pictures with a DSLR, you can no longer view it as you are taking it within the LCD display. You can only view it after you take it.

If you really think you want to get serious enough about photography, a DSLR is the way to go.
    i.e., Canon, Nikon, Fugi
There will be a learning curve with a DSLR if you have never used an SLR film camera before.
    Hope this is helpful
