    Olympus fe-170

    Hi I am new to digital photography and have been bought an Olympus Fe-170 for Christmas and was wondering if any one knows if it is possable to veiw photos taken without switching on camera thus causing lens to come out,as manual is not very clear about subject Thanks rik41

    I'm guessing the answer is no
    The camera needs to be on so that you can view the pictures since it needs power to light up the display.

    Any non DSLR camera I have seen, the moment you turn it on, the lens extends to some degree
