Wich dSLR do you recommend me? I know the Canon is better, but I can buy an Olympus E-500 with 2 lenses cheaper...

I went throgh this a year ago Canon 20D or Evolt 300 i choose Evolt because of two lenses and the scene selection on the camera Have not regretted it besides I save a few $$$

Sorry estoerp. I guess folks are just a bit fed up of being asked things like "which one should I get", every forum is awash with such posts and in truth it's impossible to give a straight, unbiased answer. Comes down to which one feels 'right' in your hands, not mine, not theirs, yours. As a fellow Olympus owner (Olympian?) I wish you both many days of happy shooting - excellent choice! (mine's the E-300).

I bought the Olympus not on reputation, or word of mouth, or what not, but just went to the camera shaop, and picked them all up, had a fiddle with the buttons, etc, and made my choice. I've never had a canon, or Nikon, so wouldn't know if it is a bad choice, but I am perfectly happy with my Olympus. (Plus you wouldn't want to be a lemming would you! )
