What kind of batteries should I get

I'm not sure whether to get the CR-V3 Lithium-Ion batter pack, or the Ni-HM rechargable batteries

    I was thinking either this:
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?tab=4&type=product&id=1069297111512&sk uId=5835894&productCategoryId=

    Or this:
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1069297110863&skuId=4497716&type=pr oduct

I heard the Ni-HM aren't even worth it because they quickly die out. But I also heard that the CR-V3 don't last very long per use, so I'm confused on what to do. My Olympus D-560 Zoom eats batteries like nothing, so I'm sure anything I get won't last as long as I would want them to. I'm leaning towards the CR-V3, but I have a feeling the charger is gonna put a big whole in my pocket, any suggestions?

If the batteries are similar to the AA penlight batteries just buy the best rechargeable ones. I use them in my C750 Olympus and they last for more than 200 Hi Res picts per session and then I just swap them with another recharged set. Out of 20 batteries I have only had 1 'wear out'.

the aa nimh are the best bet here. They last a long time and are getting to be relatively inexpensive. the rcrv3 batteries are quite expensive right now.

Well, I found an RCR-V3 battery pack that comes with a charger for 20 bucks.. that's damn cheap if you ask me. And I'm pretty sure the RCR-V3 would outloast the NiMH's.

Sorry, didn't think about that, hehe.

    Found it on Froogle.
Don't buy too many, I want the deal to last (I havn't bought them yet)

Edit: I'm just curious how these compare to the regular non-rechargable CR-V3's

    NIMH

4 AA NiMh batts at 2300 MiAh each are hard to beat. What is the rating of the alternate? AAs are very versatile as well, they even make adapters so You can use them in place of Cs and Ds. You will find they will beat just about any other battery. I have bought My last alkaline or NiCad for sure.
Do the math, Walmart sells 8 paks for about $18.00. Even if You only recharge them 10 times, compare that to the cost of 80 alky's. Most of Mine are getting close to 2 years old now, that is a lot of money in My pocket

    Rechargeable!

Rechargeable! are always best Try to have 2-4 packs charging if you can. This way you will never run out of batteries! For myself I use AA just in my 550EX Speedlight for my Cannon D Reble I do have 4 packs or 12 batteries! I have always done that no matter what type of camera I had. Good luck....................Lamont :-)
