Olympus C-310 Zoom

I am planning to buy Olympus C - 310 Zoom, 3.2 MP.

I am currently using Olympus C-860L, 1.3 Megapixels. The problem with this digicam is that photographs taken at night are disastrous! There is no night mode in the camera. I hate one more thing in this camera- Whenever the light is less than required, flash is automatically activated while clicking a photograph. I cannot disable flash. There is no optical zoom as well..


The model I am planning to buy , C-310 Zoom ... acc to me it has video recording facility... but w/o sound. I've seen SHQ images of max resolution 2048x1536. But all those photographs are day photographs. I also need to see some Night photography with this camera. So if any of you guys have got the night photographs taken frm this cam or reliable links to the photographs, do not hesitate to reply.

i have this camera and am having some difficulties with night photos
i've taken a good night photo, so i know its capable, but i dont know what i did to make that photo come out better than all the others

the first one is far too bright, i edited the second one, it looks it bit more life like, but the distance is very blurred

i've tried setting the mode to auto, portrait, landscape, night scene and still cant get it right
does anyone know what im doing wrong?
the colours dont come out right, its just white washed by the flash


another thing, this camera has wicked red eyes issues
