Xd????

I had forgotten to address this matter, in my previous post, but here goes:

While in Circuit City, yesterday, (discussing a problem getting photos off of my present camera) I expressed an interest in getting another digital camera, in the (hopeful) near future. He suggested that I look into either an Olympus or Fugii (I think I spelled the latter wrong) with "XD". I didn't have time to delve further into the interest, but would like to know just what 'XD' is.

Well, I happened to read a little further down - on this forum - and found a posting on an 'XD' card. So it seems that 'XD' is in reference to a new type of card (am I right?) as opposed to a hardware makeup of the camera unit itself.

You are correct XD is the new type of memory card that Olympus and Fuji is currently using.

Though that are small and fairly fast, the prices are much higher than other cards
