Problem with "ice crystal" look on outdoor photos
I have a problem with outdoor photos taken with my C-750. I get a kind of ice crystal look on the rims of peoples' glasses, the hairs on their heads, the branches of trees, etc. It is hard to describe this, but for example the grey hairs on a subject's head look all shiny like the sun is reflecting from water drops or ice. If anyone knows what I mean, please let me know if there is a way I can get rid of this effect. Thanks!

Sally -- just throwing a couple of guesses at you....
Might be noise from a high ISO setting, or could be from jpeg compression. The best way to be sure is to download a picture to your gallery for myself or others to look at it. My guess is there will be at least one person who can nail it down for you. Good luck....and welcome to bytephoto.

Can you tell me how to upload a picture? I'm new to this forum. If you just point me to the instructions, thanks.
