Need a little help!

Hello,
I have a D100. I looking at two lens for my camera, I want to shoot some portraits. I am looking at Nikon 85mm f/1.4 Ai-S.
The other one is a Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D AF. I am not sure the
85mm f/ 1.4 Ai-S will work on the D100.

I am not sure the AI-s will work at all, but even if it does, it will be way short of the functionality needed for the D-100. Espescially in the area of exposure control. You really need the D-series lens (or G) for that camera.

You should be able to find all the details about this in the D-100 area of Nikon's web site.

Thanks Tim for your help! All my lenses are D and G ..But i was wondering about the Ai-S lens. I will go and check out Nikons web site. I was thinking i check it a long time ago and it wasn't much help..
