D300??

the D300 seems like an AWESOME camera.. but it's so expensive! i'd love to get one, but i can't really afford it yet, i'm thinking i'l save up and see what Nikon has to offer in terms of a D80 replacement.

i was hoping Nikon would have a D90 or something during the PMA.. but maybe soon? *fingers crossed*

if you're absolutely sure the D300 is for you, just give it some time and the price may eventually drop...the D200 is just as good of a camera though but I must admit, the LCD screen on the D300 is absolutely amazing and the live-view is lovely....

The D200 if a fantastic camera... I also own the D300 but because of auto focus issues it has been sent back to Nikon and has not come back yet.

The new D60 is a nice little camera fro the money, but lacks the build and speed on the D200.

i was abit disapointed with the D60... after all the fuss it just seems like a D40x with sensor cleaning ... which is good but it's so much more expensive...

then again if the price dropped i'd probably be happy to have the D60.. the lightweight part apeals to me
