Nikon Thread, D70s or D200 in Digital Camera Discussions; other then the given, the D200 having more pixels then the D70s. Are there any other reasons that the D200 ...

    D70s or D200

    other then the given, the D200 having more pixels then the D70s. Are there any other reasons that the D200 would be a better choice then the D200???

    The D200 will focus faster, has better metering, more controls and although it is considered a "prosumer" model, it is very very close to the D2X. I own both (after having sold my D70) and find the D200 about 2/3rds the camera of the D2X at about 1/3 the price. I highly recommend the D200.

    You are right, D200 is much more better than D70. D200 is a good choice!
