    Angry white ghost images

I am using my Nikon D70 for the last 1 year...it used to give brilliant pictures even in strong sunlight..only very recently, I see that there is a very light whitish patch spread around the centre towards the right...this very light white patch gives a very mild blurred image in that area(which I am referring to a ghost image)...can anyone tell me the reason for this and the doable remedy !!

If you post a sample, someone may be able to better help you.

you probably got moisture inside your lens, or maybe you even have a smear on you outter lens or between your lens and filter and dont realize it.

Thanks...it was actually a smear outside the lens.
Can you or someone tell me what is the best way to clean the lens in such cases...
    Thanks in advance

I found using something called a "lens pen" works wonders on cleaning the outside of the lens glass or filter glass.
One end is a soft brush, the other is a felt that cleans nicely with no chemicals.
I dont have it with me at the moment so cant give you the company that makes them, but I'm sure others here might know about them
