    camera!! can it be saved

    hi all! i have a new coolpix 4600 which ended up sitting in a puddle of bath oil in my girlfriends suitcase and hasnt worked since. can it be saved at all?? or do i have one expensive paperweight?. thanks for any help.

    goodaye "crowboy" its "crowboy" here. apparently no one can offer any help, so i suggest to ditch it and just buy another, although you will be out of pocket a few$$$$ so i couldnt help further.

    Cowboy go on the Nikon USA and get t he number to phone them. it is a 800 number. It will only cost you postage to send it to them and they will tell you to use it for a fishing sinker. The spook, or they will also give you a price to repair. Been their and done that.I had two nikons repaired from Nikon.

    Cow boy sent it to Nikon just for the postage they will give you a estimate fro repair. Th e Spook I also had a couple Nikons repaired there due to my own fault of damage.
