    Question SD memory card out of memory

    My son has a Nikon Coolpix 7900, he reformatted the SD card in his computer, now when you put it in the camera it says it is out of memory. I've even tried reformatting it in the camera, it hasn't help. Can anyone tell me if the card is trashed or what? Thanks

    The computer has probably formatted the card as NTFS and the camera wants a FAT format. Format it again in the computer but choose FAT this time, then put it in the camera and do another format. Always format or delete photos in camera from now on.
