Coolpix problem, running out of time.
Hi guys.
We're about to go off on holiday and our camera has just died.
Symptoms: On turning on our coolpix 3100 camera (with what we now know to be nearly dead batteries) the green power LED came on, the lens extended but nothing else happened. Pressing the power switch again causes the led to blink out but then come on again.
Nikon told us to remove the batteries and card and leave for 24 hours and then try again with charged batteries. We've tried this to no effect.
This camera may well be dead but if there's anything anyone can suggest to resurrect it before we leave we'd be grateful.
Thanks for your time,
Owen.
