    Shutter lag on the d70

I am considering the d70 but wonder about shutter lag. I have an olympus C-4000 with lag and it is very difficult to capture photos of my children (as they don't stay in one place for long!) Still rely alot on my ae1-program film. Any thoughts on the d70?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Thumbs up .

    Mark,
I have the D70 as well since August and I have noticed no shutter lag. I took a trip to WVa and VA this year and even took pictures while in the passenger seat of an RV going 65mph and I got some good pictures composed like I wanted them

and then this one was taken from a moving train

All were composed exactly as I wanted them. So if any lag time occurred, I wouldnt have gotten the composition I wanted

Hope this helps with your decision
