am new here but seen your question & thought I would just tell you that I looked at as much info as I could on this & went with the high-speed professional compactfalsh 80X by lexar...
have both a 1mg & a 2mg and have had no problems and the speed is excellent...
hope that helps

yeah oops on the mg ... bg... lol tis the holidays...
am not real sure what you are asking here and its been a year seen I researched this but scandisk makes the l-ll 30x 40x ect... Lexar also has them... I choose the 80x because from what I had read it was the fastest the bigger the number the faster the write speed...
hope that helps if not I am sure you can go do a web search & will find alot of good info there that is what I did..

What you need is the Sandisk ultra II
They are slightly more expensive but if you ever do action shots it saves to disk a lot faster. If it doesnt say Ultra II then its the older disk.Pbase.com/ReflectionsbyRuth

I was trying to find a resent thread I had on the two... scandiskll & laxar highspeed pro but I couldn't find it... but they said their test showed laxar 80X to be faster... I believe them because I do wildlife shooting & I can click off 20 to 30 moving shots without any lag or hold up... to me that is great... not sure if you really need to take that many but is nice to know it works... a fast camera & card make for a happy wildlife shooter... lol
