european camera going to the US

I'm new to this page and hope I'm finally getting some help.

I'm going to the US next week, for the first time with my digital camera bought in Germany and the camera needs to be recharged sooner or later.

I have the right plug for charging the camera, but the problem: do I need some other devices because of the different voltage? Or will it just work?

The camera is a Nikon Coolpix SQ ... HELP! The camera has to work for 2 weeks and not just as long as the batteries are charged...

    thanks

    steffi

Check your manual to see if the camera is dual voltage. We use 110v in the US and many electronics items can accept 110 or 220 with the right plug but you need to make sure by checking the manual/specs for the camera.
