    Looking for Telephoto lenses

    Hi,

    I'm new here...
    Looking for a good quality telephoto lens with a lowest price. I'm using Nikon D70, and thinking of getting Tamron 200-400mm 5.6 LD-IF or Sigma 300-800mm 5.6 Ex IF APO. Can anyone here suggest, which lens should i get? How about other lenses?
    By the way, I'm into moto sport photography.

    Remember the 1.5 conversion factor... I find that in telephoto a fast lens is the way to go. I just purchased the Nikon 80 - 200 f2.8 (used - like new) and love it. The speed is great for hand held shots.

    I was told when getting a telephoto to get the smallest number f stop possible. Wow that 800 is a huge lens. Like was stated above don't forget the 1.5 conversion.

    Just looked up the Sigma Lens, $4500.
