Just asking...
Guys, I'm currently looking for a DSLR and I read about the shutter thing in it. I read it in the review of Canon EOS 30D. Is the shutter replaceable or you need to buy a new DSLR? If it is replaceable, How much does it cost me?
THanks,

Hi Wynn,
I'm not sure what the 'shutter thing' is all about.
I have a Fuji S2 which is rumored to be good for 30,000 shutter sequences. Mine is about 3 years old (I bought it used on E-Bay) has about 10,000 and is working fine. If it lasts another 3-5 years I'm sure I'll be ready for a new camera.
I hope that helps.

Thanks Frank!, Maybe I was just misinterpreted the 100,000 cycles of the canon 30d shutter.

The 30D's wont be shipping out untill May 15th so it might be a long wait before you get one. All companies full preorderd web orders first so if you plan on getting a 30D then you will need to pre-order one. Or my may have to wait untill the 2nd batch that ships.
