Yes but please use the intermediate size for both this sites bandwidth considerations as well as the person on the other ends download time ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦

Note : if you have already optimized your image for web use the system may not make an intermediate size ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦ so you would have only a thumbnail and full size ..

I guess I'm not sure what you mean by "intermediate size". If I post a link on another site, do they get forwarded here or does it open on the other site? I want it to be able to open on the other site and I'm not sure how to do that. Thanks, Lou

To see an example of how sometimes an intermediate size exists see

    http://www.bytephoto.com/photopost/s....php?photo=842

if you click on the photo an even larger image appears ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦

I did notice that the image you uploaded was already sized and optimized for web use and that their was no intermediate size only thumb and full size

Yes it can be imbedded into a post at another site so that it appears in the post there

Right click on the image you would like to post and copy the ’‚’‚…‚’‚¹¦‚“url’‚’‚…‚’‚…¾‚ -

    http://www.bytephoto.com/photopost/d...o-med.jpg?6349

And remove the dynamic tags at the end in this case ’‚’‚…‚’‚¹¦‚“?6349’‚’‚…‚’‚…¾‚ so that it looks like this

    http://www.bytephoto.com/photopost/d...1Oh-No-med.jpg

and then if you place it in between 'IMG' tags it will display as it is below

NOTE how you handle the photo at the other site will depend on their setup but most of the popular bbs recognize the img tags

Lou I moved the thread so that others could also benefit from the thread ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚¦ here in the 'Site Tips' area ... if you have any problems with posting your images let me know ...

also try to add a link back to BytePhoto in your sig file or your posts when you posting images hosted here in other forums
