Two Affordable Easy-To-Use CCD Digital Cameras
Concord Camera Corp. Introduces Two Affordable Easy-To-Use CCD Digital Cameras - Concord Eye-Q 3340z and Concord Eye-Q 4060AF
Aug. 12, 2003 Concord Camera Corp. presents the company's first two digital cameras using Charge-Coupled Device ("CCD") technology, the Concord Eye-Q 3340z and the Concord Eye-Q 4060AF. Both products are designed and manufactured in the company's design and manufacturing facility in the Far East, and are designed specifically for consumers seeking high quality and easy-to-use digital cameras at an affordable price.
The Concord Eye-Q 3340z features a 3 Megapixel CCD sensor and a high resolution 3x internal optical zoom system while the Concord Eye-Q 4060AF offers the benefits of a 4 Megapixel CCD sensor with a wealth of features including a 6x digital zoom. Both models come with 16 Megabytes of internal flash memory and are equipped with an SD card slot for virtually unlimited storage.
Zoom Capability
The Concord Eye-Q 3340z features a high resolution, all-glass non-extending 3x optical zoom lens system. The optical zoom mechanism uses internal folded optics that remain inside the camera body at all times. The lens moves within the camera to zoom from wide angle to telephoto and also has a fast response continuous auto-focus system for sharp, clear pictures every time. This zoom design allows the camera to remain compact, even while being used. Combining the 3x optical zoom and a continuous 4x digital zoom, the Concord Eye-Q 3340z provides a total 12x smooth and seamless zoom capability.
The Concord Eye-Q 4060AF is a digital snapshot camera offering a 6x digital zoom capability with an instant-release shutter and focusing system to compose and capture the photo-opportunity simply and effectively. The high resolution, all glass lens was optimized for this application and incorporates aspheric glass technology.
Picture Quality
The Concord Eye-Q 3340z and 4060z are equipped with high quality CCD sensors, auto focus systems and high quality glass optics for remarkable image capture. Both models have five pre-set scene modes to accurately capture pictures in all settings, including fireworks, night, indoor, sunset and beach/snow scenes. The user also has the option to manually select the white balance for different lighting conditions insuring optimal color reproduction. The Concord Eye-Q 3340z offers a choice of four image resolution levels while the Concord Eye-Q 4060AF offers five selections.
Ease of Use
The Concord Eye-Q 3340z and 4060AF were designed with a user-friendly approach ensuring first-time digital photographers great results right out of the box, and providing sophisticated users with simple and intuitive access to many user selectable photographic controls to explore the more advanced digital capabilities of these products. For example, the multiple flash modes, auto white balance and preset exposure scenes ensure great pictures at the simple touch of a button. Close up photography at distances as close as four inches with the Concord Eye-Q 3340z or eight inches with the Concord Eye-Q 4060AF is possible by an easy switch to the Macro mode. The continuous shooting mode will automatically take seven uninterrupted pictures within two seconds. Want to put yourself in the picture? Just activate the self-timer and pose for your picture. Slide the switch to the video mode to capture the actions of the day. The cameras' 1.5 inch color TFT Liquid Crystal Display ("LCD") allows video and image viewing options including up to 6x magnification. Users can easily transfer images via the USB connection directly to a computer (Microsoft (R) Windows (R) or Macintosh (R) based) to review and share photos online with family and friends, or simply connect the camera to the TV for immediate sharing experience.
Stylish Design
The Concord Eye-Q 3340z is slim due to the internal optical zoom system and both the Concord Eye-Q 3340Z and Concord Eye-Q 4060AF are lightweight and compact. Both are designed to look stylish while being easy to carry. Combining design with function, the on/off switch of the Concord Eye-Q 3340z controls the lens door that also protects the glass lens.
Compatibility
The Concord Eye-Q 3340z and 4060AF are compatible with Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 98, 98SE, 2000, ME, XP and Mac (R) OS 9.0 and higher.
