Full Trade Show floor spells exciting PMA 2005 Orlando

JACKSON, Mich. ’‚’‚…‚’‚‚‚¦‚“ Photo Marketing Association International announces more than 600 imaging product suppliers have already committed to exhibit at the PMA 2005 Annual Convention and Trade Show, to be held February 20-23, 2005 at the Orange County Convention Center, West Building, in Orlando, Florida. More than 750 firms are ultimately expected to exhibit at the event.

New digital cameras and digital imaging kiosks will lead the product lineup, along with cameraphones and other convergent imaging devices. Shoot-Out events and specialty pavilions will allow photo imaging retailers from around the world to compare new products side-by-side. The excitement over all the latest and greatest trends in photo imaging actually begins before the PMA 2005 Trade Show even opens. The pre-convention event, the 2005 PMA Imaging Conferences, will feature a new ’‚’‚…‚’‚¦…“all-access’‚’‚…‚’‚‚ badge concept for attendees of the three section association conventions that are taking place immediately prior to PMA 2005. Convention registrants of the Association of Professional Color Imagers (APCI), Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA) and Professional School Photographers Association International (PSPA) will be allowed to attend any of the simultaneously running breakout sessions of interest, which will all be taking place Feb. 18-19 at the Orange County Convention Center, West Building.

PMA staff members representing the three sections have collaborated as a special programming team to ensure sessions work together by minimizing duplication and covering all levels of expertise - from beginner to the most savvy - when it comes to the respective technologies and services of the three industry segments. The conferences will each maintain their unique identity. Separate programming tracks, General Sessions and luncheons are planned for all three. The only time the conferences actually merge is during large joint Keynote Sessions at the close of each day with high-profile motivational speakers, during a
pre-convention golf outing (Thursday, Feb. 17), and during the PMA Welcome Reception (Saturday, Feb. 19) for all the groups.
