August Photo Challenge "Water in Motion" is now open

The photo challenge for August is "Water in Motion".

For this photo challenge capture water in motion, this could be from rivers and streams, sea, waves, fountains, water taps etc.

Submission Guidelines for the 'BytePhoto Monthly Photo Challenge'

1. All photos are to be submitted via email to challenge@bytephoto.com
2. Please use the title 'BytePhoto Challenge' and month for the email subject line in your submissions
3. Limit two photos per member per challenge period
4. Include your BytePhoto user ID / member name
5. Please include a title for your photo
6. File size less then one meg
7. File type .jpg
8. Stay on topic
9. Including a description for your photo is highly recommended of the how, where, why and technical details etc about your image - good details about the photo make it far more interesting for the viewer and may prompt more feedback.
10. Photos are to be taken during the challenge period - we at our sole discretion may allow images that are shot outside the challenge contest dates to remain posted .. this is done only to allow to comment and critique them, but they are not considered for the title of 'challenge winner'.

FAQ

Q - I submitted my image and I don't see it posted ?

A - It can take up to 72 hrs for your image to post .. if it has been longer than that it may be due to one or more of the following:

• File size is greater then one meg
• Improper file format, file must be .jpg
• Incomplete information
• you must include your member name / id
• Photo submitted is not on topic

.. if you feel that your photo meets the guidelines and still has not been posted after 72hrs .. please send an inquiry email to challenge@bytephoto.com with the subject line 'photo not posted'

Hello Franklin,
Thanks for returning back to check out the "New Bytephoto" under new ownership since Nov 2009.

The challenge email was created by the previous owner when the Monthly Challenge was running. We never created that email since at the moment, we don't have a challenge contest running.

I thought I had hidden all the categories and forums for now, but I guess not.

You can enter up to 2 photos each week into the POTW contest where members all give helpful comments and we choose 36 finalists each week to be voted by the members.
