1.0 TERMS OF USE
The photo gallery is free of charge to BytePhoto.com registered members, providing a free online photo sharing and photo hosting service with weekly photo contests. Participation is voluntary, and by participating you agree to abide by these terms of service. If you break the rules, your account may be suspended or terminated at our discretion.
We, at BytePhoto.com, reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the photo sharing service or change these terms of service, at any time, without notice. If you have any questions or complaints concerning our policies or terms of use, please contact us at webmaster@bytephoto.com
2.0 PARTICIPATION FEES
We, BytePhoto.com, do not charge users to display and access this information in the photo gallery, albums or photo contests at this time, but reserve the right to do so.
3.0 EDITORIAL PRIVILEGES
We, BytePhoto.com, may, at our discretion, make changes in content, including the practice of editing or censoring or deleting comments or descriptions, renaming or reorganizing photo albums, or relocating or removing material for any reason without notice. Most often this is done to enhance the operation of our site, or to make room for new materials.
4.0 UPLOAD RESTRICTIONS
When uploading content to our photo sharing albums, you should be aware of the following requirements and restrictions :
A) The uploaded photo is not a copyrighted work, or the user holds the copyright, or has permission from the copyright owner.
B) Uploaded material will remain the property of the registered member, however BytePhoto.com has the right to display photos submitted to the Photo Contest for any marketing material we choose, and anywhere on this, or other websites. A copyright symbol (©), along with the name of the photographer, will be included with the chosen photo.
C) Material must not be defamatory, pornographic, racist or offensive in nature.
D) Our gallery is reserved for the display of photos only. No posting of commercial material for sale in neither the photo gallery or the Forums. If you would like to sell things, we suggest you use eBay.com, or for non-commercial material the Classified Ads section in the digital camera forum.
E) Posting non-topical content : We do not permit the posting of content unrelated to digital photography or digital imaging. No avatars or similar icon images. Be advised that material that does not meet our vision of acceptable content may be removed without warning, entirely at our discretion.
F) Comments and ratings may be posted by registered members who use this website. Profanity, unkindness and ballotbox stuffing will not be tolerated.
5.0 VIEWING RESTRICTIONS
Photos on this site should not be viewed by persons who are prohibited by law, in their country, from accessing them.
E-cards sent from this website may not be sent to persons who find the content or attached communication objectionable. If we get complaints from your e-card recipients, your account may be suspended or terminated at our discretion. This also includes the use of the private message system here at Bytephoto.com. Spamming will not be tolerated either.
6.0 DATA LOSS
We, BytePhoto.com, are not in any way responsible for data loss of any kind, and that it’s the members responsibility to maintain backup copies of their submitted photos and/or messages.
