Maybe it is finally time to retire my beloved camera, but I still want to find out what the problem is. Sometimes when I turn the camera on it will instantly turn off and show the ’*‚„’‚‚’‚’‚‚‚¦‚’‚‚’‚¦’‚‚‚¦‚“err’*‚„’‚‚’‚’‚‚‚¦‚’‚‚’ …’‚‚ message. Almost all of the time, whenever I turn the zoom ring to a certain point, it will also give the same error message. I can hear a click noise before it shuts off, maybe the shutter closing. I tried new batteries with no luck. I updated the firmware, no luck. I know it is not the memory card because it still gives me the same error message whenever I use the zoom ring even without the memory card in the camera. Weirdly, it will work normally sometimes.
