I've had the camera for a couple of years, but have just started trying to use aperture priority mode to create a shallow depth of field. Have not yet been successful.

I can get to the screen on the camera where I adjust the aperture, but even setting it at f/2, I don't achieve the desired effect.

If someone can help me to figure out what I'm doing wrong, I'd really appreciate it.
