Refer at least one friend to join Byte Photo and join us in the weekly contest.

Make sure that the friends you ask to sign up, fill out and list your user name in the referrer area

Referrer Enter the username of the forum member who referred you to this forum.


There are at least 25 users that participate frequently, which means I expect to see at least 25 new users sign up and participate in the weekly contest

After a long hiatus, I have returned.. and have been inviting a few others to the site..
Byte was one of the first photo sites that I ever displayed work on.. although I may have strayed, I find that the level of professionalism, friendliness, willingness to help each other learn here.. far outshines so many other sites. Looking forward to an enjoyable and learning time here!

I am the Vice President (emphasis on vice) of the Huntington Camera Club in Huntington Long Island. We have 108 paid and participating members and have been in exsistence since 1967. I made and announcement at the last meeting and sent out an Emial with the BytePhoto.com web address to out entire club last week. I'll look out for some members joining.

Usually when members join, I manually approve the account shortly after I see them online if I happen to be in the house.
But, once we are on the road for 2 weeks starting April 3rd, it may be a full 24-48 hours before I have access to the internet. Hopefully it won't be longer than 1 day .

I think at the time they fill out the questions at sign up, there is a question asking who referred them. If they type Bozzzzz then their user name is tagged to your count of referrals

I just checked out the website, a lot of amazing photographers at your club :wink:

I mentioned Bytephoto to our local camera club too and so far we have one participating member Henry, and 2 who joined but have not yet begun to participate.

I also just found out yesterday, that we had a camera club member join back in 2006 before Steve and I purchased Bytephoto that decided to check us out again and said once things settle down with him, would like to join in with us from time to time.

Our camera club is new and has been around just over a year. The website has only been up the past couple months.
