Converting RAW files in PS Elements 6

I've been using PS Elements 6 to convert my NEF files and modify them. I usually shoot RAW + JPG and have noticed that when I convert, I seem to lose a lot of the reds in my images so I end up with a lot of green overtone compared to the out of the camera versions of the JPG. Anybody else experience this, or know why? It's taken a while for me to clue into this. I thought it was just me flipping between different monitors.

Hi Susan,
I had that once too. For me it was because my camera was set for one colorspace, and my then Nikon View and Nikon Transfer were set for another colorspace.
So what I saw in camera was not what I saw when opening the file to convert.

You might want to check the color space for your camera which should be Adobe RGB. Make sure the same is set for your Adobe software.
