Adobe
Hi I`m thinking of buying some new software for editing my images, but I`m a little unsure as to what one to buy.
In the past I used Photo impact, Paint Shop Pro and MGI, but feel a little limited in what I can achieve with these.
At college I was taught with Adobe photo shop, and quite fancy getting back to using that, the ones I had a look at are Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Any advice on the Adobe products would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Scott

Well I would certainly go with Photoshop or PS Elements in favour of those others. As you probly know, PSCS2 is very pricey, whereas it's offspring PSE is not. If I could afford it I would get PSCS2 if you're really serious about learning the art of image manipulation and you have already used PS at college. But if it's out of your reach, Elements is the next best thing, and although only a fraction of the price it's still very powerful and will have all you are likely to need. Just make sure it's the latest Elements (v4.0) because it'll have all the latest enhancements and is also compatible with the latest Adobe RAW plug-in. Earlier versions of Elements can't use the RAW plug-in I don't think.
